Can the twin pushchair be used from birth?
All twin pushchairs are not designed to be used by two newly born twin babies. Some buggies are intended for a mother who has a baby and a toddler. This means that it can only be used from one baby from birth but has the extra seat to make life easier for mum.
Other double strollers are intended for your twins right from birth with both seats able to be used from day one. So which is more suitable for your circumstances?
Is the ride comfortable for the babies?
Young children tend not to sit still in their pushchairs so it is important that it is made from hard wearing material that can well sustain their wriggles and messes.
You can also get seats that are static and others than have many reclining positions so that they can be used while the twins are sitting up or lying down.
Some wheels are pneumatic which means that the ride will be as smooth in the twin buggy on a cobbled street or a piece of newly laid tarmac.

If it rains (and it does), you need a rain cover, if it is cold you need footmuffs to keep them warm and snug and if it is hot and sunny you need a sun shade to protect them. Whilst the comfort of your twins is very important for you, you should also consider whether life can be made easier you you.
The material should be lightweight whilst being strong enough. You will probably want a pushchair that is foldable to make life easier if you have to catch a bus or fit it into the boot of your car. Not all buggies are like this.
Some strollers have wheels that rotate 360 degrees to make them better to maneuvere. Very useful when trying to navigate the supermarket. Oh yes a shopping bag attachment will also be helpful there.
