My husband and I read hundreds of reviews and looked at as many double buggy's as we could find before choosing this one. I've been using it now for 4 months and it is a very good buggy.
The seats are a bit like hammocks so our youngest is often quite happily rocked to sleep on trips out. Our eldest can't reach her to prod her or wake her and they both are kept very snug in cold weather. It's lovely to push so easy and smooth - I even manage it with one hand. As with any side by side buggy it is wider than a normal but I have had very few problems getting in anywhere. I even got it on a park and ride bus but it was very tight.
As I have found out no buggy is perfect and with all buggy's there are always some faults. Now my eldest is growing rapidly and by the time she's all wrapped up in the cold weather with her coat on she does look a bit squashed. Now she is older and more nosey I would prefer her to be sitting more upright but even on the highest position she is still quite laid back.
I have no problems getting this in my car but I have a fiat multipla and have removed the parcel shelf and it stands in there nicely.
I would recommend this buggy - but I've not tried any others to compare it. It's definately great for rural areas but sometimes awkward round town so it all depends what you want it for. I tend to use two singles if I'm out with someone else and just use this when I'm on my own.
First wheels city elite twin stroller was developed to enable two children to travel together easily. Unlike other twin strollers, First wheels City Twin enables two children to sit independently by facing either forward, backward or both can sit facing the same direction, with the extra option of adding either one or two carrycots.

Nice pushchair but needs some improvement

I love my First Wheels City Twin but I wouldn't have bought it had I really known what it was like. I'm used to it now so the little irritating things that bother me are not so bad but for the price I expected a much better build, the brake pulls up too high and comes out of the socket it's easy to put back but still this shouldn't happen in my opinion. The rain covers both broke within the first few times of using them and the handle has far too much give, it feels quite unsafe with a very heavy load. I had the additional carrycot for my newborn which I really loved and that was very secure. Overall it is a great pushchair and I had so many positive comments about but in my opinion it's totally overpriced.
